Hi, I’m Amanda.
I’ve worked in Hong Kong’s corporate world since 2019 — full calendars, full inboxes, the kind of pace that doesn’t leave much room to hear yourself think. Meditation was the first thing that gave me that room back. Sound healing was the second, and it found me almost by accident, on a trip to Bali, where I trained and became certified.
I didn’t expect much walking in. I left genuinely moved — by how simply the sound worked, and by how little I had to do for it to work. No performance, no previous experience, nothing to get right. Just lying down and letting it move through me.
I started near quiet for one reason: I wanted more people to feel what I’d felt. In the middle of Hong Kong’s hustle, I wanted to hold a space that stayed small and unhurried — closer to a quiet room among people who trust each other than an event.
We’re drawn to the same things, again and again: light on water, the pause between two breaths, a bowl of sound fading slowly into nothing. near quiet is built around that pause — the moment sound has moved through you, and quiet remains.
